Recital Opportunities
The studio offers two full studio performance opportunities every year, during December for a holiday recital and again in the spring. Graduating seniors have an annual senior recital. Students have the opportunity to play in the MMTA Ensemble Festival, the MMTA State Piano Contest, the MusicLink Playathon, and the Pianos on Parade program. Students also have the option to play in monthly recitals hosted by the St. Paul Piano Teacher's Association and in community outreach recitals.
MMTA Programs
The Minnesota Music Teacher's Association offers many opportunities for further music education, performance and competition. Testing in theory, sight playing, comprehensive piano examinations and composition are encouraged as is participation in the annual state piano contest.
